Chief Amna takes charge of teaching Quran to children in her house. In exchange for marriage to his daughter Noura, Abu Shehab (Shehab's father) asks Abu Badr (Badr's father) to raise the prices of the boats to prevent Abu Saqr from buying them.
Brooke beats Seif and injures him severely, an incident that Zabiya witnesses in her dream. Forced to buy boats for his business, Abu Saqr is annoyed that Abu Badr has raised the prices.
Abu Badr asks Abu Shehab to fulfill his promise of wedding him to Noura. Saqr tells Badr that Brooke isn't the one who beat Seif.
Zabiya tells her parents that Brooke didn't beat Seif; instead, it was a masked man who launched the attack. When the chief's son, Mayed, disappears, the village people look for him.
Mayed remains missing. Abu Saqr agrees with his son to bring the chief back home to look after Seif.
As Abu Badr quarrels with Bekheit and fires him, he unsuccessfully tries to train Kheshkhash to work with him. Abu Shehab makes a deal with a bandit to teach Bekheit and Saqr a lesson.
The masked man beats Bekheit. Abu Saqr and the villagers agree to have night patrols in the village. Abu Badr asks Abu Shehab to fulfill his promise. Badr tells Saqr that he wants to wed Abu Shehab's daughter.
Abu Saqr suggests a way to raise an alert if anyone sees the masked man. The masked man breaks into the chief's house to kill Seif, but the villagers chase him off. Abu Fahd objects to the way the villagers have been dealing with the situation.
Abu Shehab informs his daughter, Noura, that Abu Badr wants to marry her, but she refuses. Abu Shehab asks Abu Badr to demand the full price of the boats from Abu Saqr to ensure that he can not pay it. Sa'eid and Mas'oud find Mayed.
Abu Saqr is upset that Abu Badr wants him to pay the price of the boats in full. Bekheit and Saqr catch a bandit as he tries to rob Khamas.
Abu Saqr tells his son that he wants to sell the house to buy a boat. Bekheit tells his father that he wants to propose to Noura. Abu Saqr Is shocked when Abu Fahd allies with Abu Shehab.
The masked man runs away from Marzouq and burns his house, but Abu Saqr manages to put the fire down. Umm Badr (Badr's mother) admonishes her husband for staying out of the situation. Bekheit admonishes Abu Badr for reneging on his promise to accept payment in installments for the boat.
Abu Shehab and Marzouq plot to rob the villagers' houses, starting with Abu Fahd's house. Saqr catches feelings for Noura.
Abu Shehab asks Abu Fou'ad to act as a cover to buy Abu Saqr's house. Aubaida talks to Saqr about proposing to Noura.
As Abu Shehab reneges on his promise to Abu Fou'ad after he buys Abu Saqr's house, he hires bandits to rob Abu Saqr. He also asks Abu Badr to give him the boat in exchange for Noura's hand.
Saqr and Seif try to force Marzouq to admit to robbing Abu Saqr. Abu Saqr is shocked when he learns that Abu Fou'ad has sold the house to Abu Shehab, forcing Abu Saqr to stay with the chief.
Abu Shehab plots with Marzouq to steal Umm Sawaleh's gold. As Saqr, Seif, and Salem try to fight off Marzouq, Salem gets killed during the fight.
Abu Shehab is shocked when the masked man insists on staying on his farm. Abu Shehab tells Abu Fahd that he has been selected to captain his boat. Seif convinces Saqr to sacrifice his love for Noura for his friend Badr's sake, since the latter also wants to marry her.
Abu Shehab asks the masked man to reveal who he is, revealing his own motive behind pursuing revenge on the chief. Abu Fahd asks Seif to accompany him out at sea. Badr tells his father that he wants to marry Noura.
As Abu Fahd goes out on the boat, the trip proves to be a failure. Abu Badr is forced to agree to his son's wish to marry Noura. Abu Shehab plots with Marzouq to beat Abu Saqr.
As Abdel Rahim checks on the money that he buried in the ground, his wife sees him. Muftah tries to kill Seif on Abu Fahd's boat. The masked man tries to kill Umm Sawaleh, but Saqr saves her.
As Marzouq and the masked man beat Abu Saqr, Abu Shehab asks them to leave his farm so as not to attract suspicion. Seif threatens to leave Abu Fahd's boat to avoid working with Muftah. Abdel Rahim's wife tells the chief that she stole her husband's money to provide for her children.
Seif manages to catch some pearls and gives them to Abu Ahmed (Ahmed's father) as a dowry for his daughter, Zabiya. Abu Shehab asks the masked man to kill Abu Saqr.
Muftah asks Abu Shehab for Noura's hand. When Abu Shehab rebukes and rebuffs him, Muftah takes revenge by telling Abu Fahd that Abu Shehab is the one who got Marzouq to steal his money. Badr marries Noura.
Muftah steals Seif's pearls. Abu Saqr tells his son that he will look for a hut for them to live as they prepare to leave the chief's house in the wake of Seif's marriage. With Noura forced to wed Badr, she treats him coldly after the marriage, which upsets Badr.
Abu Saqr convinces Abu Salem (Salem's father) to let Sa'eid and Mas'oud work with them. Abu Shehab suspects that Muftah has stolen the pearls. Marzouq tells Abu Shehab that Abdel Rahim's money was stolen. Noura informs Badr of her pregnancy.
As Marzouq and his men rob Abdel Rahim, Sa'eid and Mas'oud keep an eye on him. Abdel Rahim dies from the shock. Abu Bekheit (Bekheit's father) tells the villagers to ask for Abu Shehab's protection, but no one agrees.
As Muftah seizes the coffee shop, he claims to have bought it from Abdel Rahim's heirs. Badr accuses Noura of cheating on him with Saqr, forcing her to move into Abu Bekheit's house as everyone thinks that she ran away after getting a divorce. Abu Saqr decides to leave the village with his son.
Abu Bekheit asks Noura to wed his son. Abdel Rahim's widow tells the chief that the money Muftah used to pay her is actually Abdel Rahim's and bears his mark. Abu Badr and Abu Fou'ad regret working with Abu Shehab against Abu Saqr.
As Noura gives birth, Badr refuses to recognize him as his child. Abu Shehab is shocked when he learns that Muftah now owns his house and farm. The chief tells the masked man that his parents' house was burned after they got the plague. Abu Fou'ad asks Captain Abu Saqr to take the boat out to sea.
