The conflict intensifies in secret between the governor Sulayman Pasha and his deputy, Fathi al-Qalanisi, as both of them want to exert control over the Levant. Hamza Agha admires Fatima, the wife of Abdo El Sorouji.
One of the two guards assigned to find Abdo's body thinks of bringing a corpse from the cemetery to Hamza Agha as if it were the body of Abdo El Sorouji, upon which they implement the plan. Abdo goes crazy after he hears from the villagers that he has died.
Sulayman Pasha decides to enlist the help of the Agha of the El Dalaty family and his men to tighten his grip on the Levant. Salmon asks Abdo to leave her house as soon as he recovers from his wound so as not to draw attention to her.
Ajami and Baghdadi's men attack the country and kill a large number of its residents, upon which Governor Sulayman gets angry at his aides after their abrupt decision without consulting him. Hamza Agha assaults Fatima in his house.
The Dalaty family attacks the castle, kills children and men, and assaults women. Governor Sulayman tells his deputy, Fathi, that he will turn to the Sultan if things get out of hand in the Levant.
As Fayyad frees himself from captivity, he severely beats Salmon and Fawzia, but Abdo fatally stabs him in the back with a sword. Selim tells his wife that he will take revenge on those who assaulted her, no matter how long it takes.
Sulayman Pasha assigns Ibrahim Agha to run the affairs of the country in his absence and tells him that he'll receive a great reward if he maintains the stability and security of the Levant. Abdo flirts with Fawzia and tells her that their relationship will remain hidden from Salmon.
Salmon suspects that there is a relationship between her neighbor, Fawzia, and her lover, Abdo, and decides to monitor them. Selim's mother asks him not to hit his wife again and tells him that she has no hand in the incident of her assault.
After Fahdiya falls ill and dies, Selim's mother tells her son that he caused her death. El Fostoki decides to avenge his honor on Hamza Agha after he assaulted his sister, Fatima. Fawzia asks Abdo to stay away from her after she learns that Salmon is watching them.
Hamza Agha's men attack Salmon's house and beat her and Fawzia. El Fostoki takes Fawzia and shelters her in a remote place. Abu Habsa tells Hamza Agha that Abdo El Sorouji, Fatima's husband, is still alive.
A common woman stabs Sulayman Pasha, who falls ill and orders his aides and his minister to shoot him, then he dies. As Abdo meets Fawzia and asks her to run away with him, she refuses.
Hamza Agha goes to the neighborhood and beats Abu Habsa and his daughter, Fatima. When El Fostoki learns of what happened to Abu Habsa and Fatima, he takes revenge on Hamza Agha and warns him not to approach them again.
El Fostoki falls in love with Fawzia, who notices his feelings for her. Hamza Agha asks his men to tighten the security on the house so that no one sneaks into it again as El Fostoki did.
After the death of his enemy, the governor, Sulayman Pasha, Fathi al-Qalanisi feels that this is his chance to take his place, whereupon he gathers his men and decides to devise an elaborate plan to seize the governorship.
Hamza Agha orders his men to search for Selim and bring him alive by any means. As El Fostoki suspects that Fawzia is in love with Abdo, he asks her to tell him the truth.
Hamza Agha learns Selim's location, to which he sends his men, but he escapes at the last moment, then Hamza Agha orders the punishment of all those who helped Selim escape from him.
Hamza Agha tells Fatima that he will sign over a house to her and will take care of the expenses of his unborn child, whom she is pregnant with. Fawzia tells El Fostoki that she has developed feelings for him and that she will always be in his debt for the favor he did her.
El Fostoki narrowly escapes from Hamza Agha and his men. Hamza Agha asks Fawzia to tell him where El Fostoki is, as nothing will restore his status in front of people apart from killing him and taking revenge on him.
Fawzia decides to help her lover, El Fostoki, escape from Hamza Agha. The new governor's men attack the Al-Midan area with cannons and kill a large number of people.
The new governor orders his men to tighten their grip on the area of the Castle and Al-Midan and arrest anyone who resists them or stands in their way. He also orders them to search for and arrest Hamza Agha.
Fatima decides to go back to her father's house and tells her brother, El Fostoki, that she will be happier in the family home. El Fostoki decides to marry Fawzia.
El Fostoki learns that Abu Habsa was treacherously killed by the governor's men, so he decides to avenge his death. The governor's men kill Afsah in front of people.
Fatima gives birth to her son by her late husband Hamza Agha. Fawzia asks El Fostoki that Abdo El Sorouji does not stay in their house, but he refuses and tells her that he is his guest.
Fatima tells her mother that she will take care of her son until he grows up and avenges his father, Hamza Agha. As Fawzia asks her husband, El Fostoki, to stop fighting the governor's men and put revenge behind him, he calms down.
Abdo finds Salmon and disfigures her face. Fatima's mother goes crazy after she makes sure there's a relationship between her daughter and Selim Agha, but she refuses to tell her brother, El Fostoki.
Fatima asks for Abu Hikmat's help after learning that Hadiya stole her son. El Fostoki takes Fawzia to live with his mother. The governor's men attack Abu Habsa's house, and as El Fostoki confronts them, they shoot him dead, upon which his mother collapses.
Fawzia decides to live only to take care of her son by El Fostoki in his father's house. Abdo attacks Fawzia and tries to steal her money, but she stands up to him. The resistance men, led by Abu Hikmat, become active again.
Fatima freaks out as she learns that Abdo, her husband, is still alive. The governor orders his men to monitor Selim Agha. When Abu Hikmat finds out about the governor’s intentions, he decides to sneak Fawzia and her son out of the town.
After learning of the killing of the Sheikh of the Levant, the governor decides to take revenge on his killers. Selim rejoins Abu Hikmat and the resistance men. As Abdo attacks Fawzia, her son shoots him. Salmon avenges herself and stabs Abdo in the back after he finally reaches his wife, Fatima.
