Zahra complains to her daughter about her lazy brother, while Lotfi tells her that his brother, Taher, has filed a lawsuit against him, and Laila meets Saeed.

Idris stays out late after he goes out with his friend, which angers Lotfi. Laila tells her mother that she loves Saeed and wants to marry him.

As Idris frequents bars, it angers Zahra and Laila. Meanwhile, Saeed's father, El Jilani, quarrels with Lotfi.

Laila graduates, whereas Idris fails. El Jilani goes to meet Lotfi in his office, despite what happened between them.

El Jilani is taken to the hospital, then he dies, whereupon Laila discovers that her father caused his death after he received him poorly in his office.

Lotfi hires Farid in his office and plans to wed him to his daughter in order to make her forget Saeed, who becomes responsible for his family, while his sister Naima goes out to work.

A girl tries to persuade Idris to marry her, while Farid tries to deceive Lotfi in order to take control of the company.

After his discharge from the hospital and his father's being angry with him, Idris realizes all the mistakes he has made. Saeed goes to a publishing house to present his poetry.

As Idris commits suicide, Lotfi gets hospitalized in critical condition, whereupon Farid tries to kill him, but the nurse discovers the matter.

Lotfi is released from the hospital after becoming paralyzed, whereupon Farid takes over the management of the company and asks his friend, Ghozlan, to make Saeed's acquaintance and keep him away from Laila.

Saeed enters the hospital after getting into an accident with Ghozlan, while the relationship between Naima and the manager of the factory where she works grows stronger.

Lotfi asks Laila to marry Farid in order to get back what he stole from him. As Saeed loses his memory, Ghozlan introduces him to Farid as Shehab.

Naima quarrels with Monsef for refusing to marry her. Laila tries to get to the bottom of the mystery of Saeed after Farid introduced him as Shehab.

Laila agrees to marry Farid so that her father can expose his embezzlement from the company. The police arrest Saeed while working in smuggling with Farid.

Lotfi regains the ability to walk, confronts Farid with what he did, and expels him from the company. As Saeed recovers, Lotfi tells him that he is El Jilani's son.
