Abu Jassim (Jassim's father) agrees with Abu Abdullah that his son Jassim will marry Abu Abdullah's daughter Hessah so that they can achieve cohesion in their partnership, but Hessah refuses due to the cultural difference between her and the reckless Jassim. Mona likes her neighbor Khaled.
Abu Abdullah quarrels with his wife and insists on Hessah marrying Jassim. Hessah seeks the help of her uncle Abu Saleh and asks him to support her and convince her family to reject the suitor.
Hessah asks her mother to help her not marry Jassim, much to her father's resentment. Nouria tells Dalal about Mona’s infatuation with Khaled.
Hessah leaves the house and stays with her uncle. Her father quarrels with her mother, believing that she is encouraging her to refuse to marry Jassim. Mona tries to talk with Khaled by phone and tells him that she likes him without revealing her real identity.
Mona falls in love with Khaled. Abu Jassim tells Abu Hessah that his daughter is treating his son Jassim badly, and asks him to expedite their engagement.
Mona tries to find out why Hessah doesn't want to marry Jassim. Abu Jassim threatens to stop his cooperation with Abu Hessah at work until Jassim and Hessah get married.
As Abu Jassim refuses to complete a business deal with Abu Hessah, he breaks up their partnership. The latter then turns to his friend Abu Asaad to partner up with him. Umm Hessah (Hessah's mother) leaves the house.
Hessah tells her father that she agrees to marry Jassim so that he can bring her mother back home. He also achieves success in his new work with Abu Asaad.
Umm Hessah quarrels with her husband because he is never home and only cares about work. Hessah informs her mother of Ahmed's desire to propose marriage to her.
Mona is shocked by the news of Khaled's engagement to her friend Laila. Abu Hessah initially rejects his daughter's engagement to her colleague Ahmed due to the financial difference between them.
Abu Hessah asks Ahmed to pay a large dowry to his daughter as a condition for agreeing to their marriage. Abu Asaad falls ill and is taken to the hospital, while Abu Hessah falls for his sister Lulwa.
After Abu Hessah quarrels with his son Abdullah for driving drunk, he asks Lulwa to marry him.
Abu Hessah marries Lulwa and decides to divorce Umm Hessah, but the relationship between him and Lulwa becomes strained, after which Abu Asaad decides to break up the partnership with him.
