As the Hajj assigns his wife to work in the company in his stead, the lawyer asks her to make her son, Mahdi, work with her so as not to tire her out, and she agrees. The lawyer tells his daughter and wife about the case of a newborn who was left by his mother in a taxi.

Mahdi visits his friend, Abdullah. The lawyer completes the story for his two daughters and tells them that the taxi driver found out that he's sterile and that his wife had a friend with whom she had an affair, so he decided to take revenge on her and her friend by putting poison in their food.

Hana advises Saleh to find a girl who loves him because she'll get married. A the Hajja falls ill, Mahdi advises her to rest. The lawyer continues his story about the man who killed his wife and her lover, ran away, and then went mad. Mahdi meets Hana and Saleh while his mother and Amal are with him.

As Amal meets up with Mahdi, Saleh, and Hana, they become friends that the Hajja likes Hana. Hamid meets Saleh and tells him that he knew that his mother was sterile and that he heard her telling the man who proposed to her so, upon which Hamid collapses because he wants to know his real family.

Sharifa asks her husband what he'd do if he were the taxi owner, so he grows dubious and decides to have a DNA test done for his children to ensure that his wife did not cheat on him, but she refuses, and Hana denounces the idea. Mahdi becomes attached to Hana and they go out together.

Life has become unbearable with Sharifa, while Abdel Samie insists that his children have a DNA test done for them, which she considers an insult and accusation of cheating. As Saleh quarrels with his father, he goes to his friend Hamid and spends the night at his house.

Sharifa tells her daughter about her story before she got to know Abdel Samie, who saved her from suicide and has become so suspicious of all women. Saleh is still at his friend Hamid's home and is trying to relieve him of his bad psychological state after discovering that he's adopted.

After several sessions with a psychiatrist, it turns out that Saeed was suffering in his childhood from the cruelty of his mother, and this feeling is reflected in the way he thinks as a grown up. The Hajja calls Hana and asks her to stay away from her son, who hears her and leaves the house.

As Hana and Salah have their DNA tests done, the doctor discovers that Salah is not Saeed's son. When Hana learns, she begs him not to tell anyone. Mahdi meets his friend Abdullah and tells him that he has changed since he met Dr. Hana.

Hana takes a taxi and rushes home after learning that her father knew about the results of the DNA test. When she enters the room, she finds traces of blood scattered on the floor, while her mother has fled and taken shelter in an old building, but the police arrest her, so Hana seeks Mahdi's help.

Saeed travels by train; meanwhile, Sharifa is taken to the mental hospital by the police because of her bad condition while no one in the hospital knows her story. As for Hana, she is sad because of this, and Saleh also learns and tries to find his mother.

While talking to Zubaydah, the Hajja remembers how she took medicine to have an abortion because of her quarrel with her husband. Wafa's husband accuses her of cheating and kicks her out. The maid manages to take the recording in which the Hajja confesses to the abortion.

Mahdi asks Zubaydah to convince the Hajja to return to the hospital because she's depressed, and he visits Hana in the hospital with his sister Amal, who asks her to find out where Saleh is. Amina remembers her relationship with Kamal and how he left her, upon which she wants to take revenge on him.

As Mubaraka hides the tape in the kitchen, the Hajj finds it and takes it after Mubaraka deliberately makes it visible to him. Hana is still in the hospital, and her father hasn't yet appeared. Abdel Samie meets the children of the woman whom he chanced upon on the road and rescued when she fainted.

As Amina and her friend go to see Sharifa in the hospital, they take pity on her. Mahdi asks his mother to try to bestir herself and get back to her life. While Hana is in the hospital, she thinks of her parents, and Mahdi visits her.

The Hajj listens to the recording, while the Hajja gets angry because the maid agreed with him against her, upon which she suffers from a critical condition and is hospitalized. Amal meets Saleh and expresses her admiration for him.

The Hajj admonishes his wife for what she did and tells her that he will hold Zubaydah to account. Abdel Samie marries Hassan's ex-wife, who sees him as a good man, while Hana leaves the hospital and tries to comfort Mahdi.

As Hassan takes his children and runs away with them, Saeed tells his wife. The Hajja asks for permission from the Hajj and wants him to tell Mahdi about his brother, but eventually, she is the one who speaks to Mahdi. Amina tries to help Sharifa to return to her sanity and consciousness.

Zubaydah wants to give Hajja Soraya a painkiller as usual, but she refuses because she no longer has headaches, while the nurse insists. As for Mahdi, he asks his father to tell him everything because he feels that he's keeping a secret.

Zubaydah remembers how she exchanged babies in the hospital and sold the girl and the boy to Sharifa and Soraya respectively for money. Sharifa gets frightened and tells the doctor that she remembers her husband.

As the Hajja's condition deteriorates, the doctor recommends an operation, while her husband and children go to visit her. Amina talks to Sharifa's doctor about her condition because she wants to publish her story.

The Hajja dies in the hospital in the arms of Mahdi and Saleh, and everyone grieves for her passing. As for Mubaraka, the police arrest her and interrogate her about the recording. Sharifa is released from the hospital.

Hana is busy with Mahdi because of his mother's death, while Saleh goes with his friend to his mother after he learns that she has returned to the hospital. As Saeed informs on Zubaydah, the police hold her for interrogation for switching babies in the hospital as soon as they are born.

While Zubaydah is being investigated, she tells the officer the truth, upon which the Hajj gets upset. As for Saleh, he goes to see his mother in the hospital, while her husband slips in after the doctor prevented him out of fear for her.

The Hajj confesses to Mahdi that he and the Hajja are not his parents and that he was given to the Hajja in the hospital after the fetus died. Saeed wants to know who he really is and asks Aisha to help him. Zubaydah gets imprisoned.

Saeed manages to reach Kamal and his daughter Hana, but he is holding on to Aisha and does not want to go back to Sharifa. Saleh refuses to marry Amal, whereas Hana and Mahdi set a date for the wedding.
