محمد ألطيب | This title is a science fiction film based on the comic book series of the same name. The production was directed by Jonathan Mostow and it stars Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell. The film is set in the future where humans no longer interact with each other through their physical bodies but rather through “surrogates”- remotely-controlled androids that represent their controllers in daily interactions while the operator is safe at home. Tom Greer, an FBI agent, has witnessed his relationship with his wife deteriorate following the death of their son several years prior. His wife refuses to interact with him except through her surrogate. The murder of two people causes a great deal of alarm. It seems that someone has learned how to harm an operator via their surrogate. Tom Greer and his partner, Jennifer Peters are assigned to the investigation. They soon learn that someone has indeed developed a weapon that can overcome the surrogate’s fail-safe mechanisms and hurt the operator. 993 |
