Fajr helps Ismail travel to defend his country against the French occupation. When he arrives in Beirut, the French harass Salma, so Ismail rescues her. She shoots the latter, who finds himself in Abu Fard’s house.
Abu Hussein and the British ask to meet Saleh, who agrees to the passage of French forces to Tartus. The French open fire on the people of the village, but Saleh's group is able to defeat the occupation.
The villagers celebrate the victory over the French in the battle. Abu Fard tells Saleh that there is a spy for the French. The spy confesses that the French sent him to spy on Saleh and asks for his forgiveness before he dies of a snake bite.
The people of Syria march in a demonstration against the mandate, and the French launch a campaign against the revolutionaries, who besiege them, and then Saleh releases the prisoners.
Officer Ahmed informs the military command that Officer Hassan is receiving a salary from the French occupation. The Turks offer to provide Saleh with weapons on the condition that he does not inform the Syrian government, so Saleh asks Ismail to travel to present the matter to the Syrian government.

Ismail meets Anton, who tried to kill the French leader Picot, and Anton agrees to teach the village's children. Saleh attacks the French at night and asks Ismail to travel on a special mission to the city of Aleppo.
Ahmed and Lamia get married. Youssef sends a message to Ibrahim about the French and British agreement against them. Abdullah sends a messenger to warn Saleh about the French launching a new campaign against his group.
Ibrahim gets angry with his brother Izzat because Antakya was handed over to the French occupation. As the French burn Saleh’s house and threaten Ibrahim with burning his property, he burns it with his own hands.
Ibrahim's group saves Sobhi from the hands of the French after his clash with them. Anton proposes to Salma, who still loves Ismail, but he does not care about her.
As the French negotiator offers Saleh to stop the fighting, the latter stipulates that prisoners be exchanged and that the French occupation pay compensation for the places they burned in the village. A shipment of poisoned meat arrives from the French to Saleh’s group.
Saleh and his group recover, but Muhammad dies after he asks Ismail to look after his sister Salma. Mustafa sends weapons to Ibrahim, while Youssef wants to meet Saleh secretly.
Ismail asks Saleh for Salma’s hand in marriage, and they get married. Ibrahim prepares to bomb a weapons and ammunition depot for the French occupation. Youssef takes over the Syrian Ministry of War.
Dahesh and Anton carry a message from Saleh to the French commander that the attack by the French constitutes a violation of the truce. After the French officer kills Anton, Saleh kills the French officer.
Salma remembers Anton teaching the people of the village. Dahesh is shocked after the French officer's dog attacks him. Ibrahim learns that Abdoun has volunteered for the French army. Saleh gives orders to build a house for Ismail and Salma.
Belkacem, who is forced to cooperate with the occupation, helps Saleh attack the French, and Youssef asks Colonel Tahsin to prepare the army for war.
Saleh attacks the French in the castle. Salma sacrifices herself and is hit by a bullet instead of Ismail, who mourns her death while she was pregnant.
Haider informs Ibrahim that there is a gang that is plundering the people under the pretext that they are revolutionaries. He sends the French commandant to Saleh that he agrees to pay compensation in exchange for adhering to the truce. Saleh asks Ismail to travel to consult the Syrian government.
The Syrian government responds by leaving the decision-making to Saleh. The Syrian government prepares for war. French forces attempt to storm the valley, while Youssef asks Satee to prolong the negotiations with the French.
The French occupation begins an attack with tanks and planes on the Syrian army, and the occupation is able to enter the Levant. War Minister Youssef is martyred, while Ahmed is injured, and Ismail saves him.
General Gouraud offers Ibrahim a senior position on the condition that he leave the revolution, but Ibrahim refuses, and the French enter Aleppo without resistance.
The French set a financial reward for whoever leads them to Saleh's whereabouts. They arrest Abu Fard and torture him for not disclosing Saleh's whereabouts. Ibrahim is tried in Aleppo after the British arrest him, and the French high commissioner decides to pardon Saleh if he surrenders.
Ibrahim is arrested and a prosecution lawyer is assigned to defend him, while the French burn the places through which Saleh is passing.
As Saleh agrees to the terms of the pardon, he surrenders himself and his men to the occupation. The French high commissioner orders that Saleh not leave his house except with permission from the French army. Abdul Rahman is arrested and detained.
Adham is arrested and sentenced to death for trying to kill the French general. Abdul Rahman is transferred to a maximum security prison. French planes demolish Sultan's house and the French Council sentences him to death.
