A struggling poor family at one of Cairo's local neighborhoods, where a disabled father, a nurse mother, and daughter having problems expressing her feelings ,after becoming thirty years old and not yet engaged, she only takes care of a father absent from the world with the voice of (Umm Kulthum).

Soad and Hayat are a daughter and mother. They take care of the sick father. Soad is getting older and feeling lonely. What can she do in her situation. What about those who have never enjoyed their bodies? Can they survive the slavery of solitude and impotent acceptance of what they can't change or embrace?
