As Abdo heads to Cairo where he works at the vegetable market, he is soon to meet and marry Aziza, a fellow merchant. When Safiya, chief Shams's wife, claims that Abdo harassed her, the two men get into a fierce clash that soon turns into a conflict over the control of the market.
