Jabriya asks Abdel Hakim to convince Marwan to have another wife that can beget him children. Karima is saddened by Abdullah's involvement with his partner, and she asks him to sell an acre of his land.
Abdel Hakim and Ishaak come to Cairo and they meet Dalilah in her hotel. Abdullah goes to Upper Egpyt, and he meets Jabriya and Marwan. He tells Fawzia and Marwan that he needs money. Due to some problems with her husband, Nadia leaves her house and goes to her father's.
Karima loses consciousness right after she tells her daughters that their father went bankrupt. Nadia asks Marwan to divorce her. Nada meets Abdel Hakim, and he learns that she is currently jobless.
Dalida tells Ishaak that she wants to use Abdel Hakim's money to buy a hotel. Meanwhile, Farida tells Marwan that she likes him and she is using the land as an excuse to meet him. Abdullah asks Abdel Hakim to give him his share in the inheritance, but Abdel Hakim agrees to lend him the money.
Abdel Hakim thinks that his brother is lying to him about being indebted. Abdullah refuses to bring the dispute between him and his brother to court, contrary to his wife Karima. Nadia suspects that Marwan is cheating on her.
Abdullah has a stroke and Ezzat takes him to the hospital where Abdel Hakim and his family come to visit and check on him. Abdel Hakim meanwhile is trying to know more about the nature of his brother's work, but Ezzat refuses to disclose Abdullah's secrets.
Abdel Hakim tells Abdullah that he will give him all the money he needs. Meanwhile, Fawzia overhears Karima talking Abdel Hakim into being merciful to Abdullah and his children. Jabriya reproaches Shahd for staying out late with Ezzat.
Abdullah recovers and leaves the hospital. Karima gets angry with Abdel Hakim after she is told that he fired her brother Abdel Salam.
Abdullah is heavyhearted and desperate because of his paralysis. Marwan asks Zeinab to just be friends, but it's clear that he has feelings for her. Farida, on the other hand, asks Marwan to marry her in secret. Jabriya pushes Abdullah's wheelchair down the stairs.
Upon knowing that Ezzat hugged Shahd, Abdel Hakim shoots him. At the hospital, it is learned that Abdullah passed away, and Abdel Hakim is grief-stricken. Karima tells Abdel Hakim that she will not squander her children's rights.
Abdullah's death triggers different responses: Abdel Hakim and Fawzia are mournful whereas Jabriya is overjoyed. Karima refuses to move to Abdel Hakim's house because he hasn't asked her to.
Nadia complains about her life with Jabriya, and likewise, Fathy complains about his life with Shams. Marwan leaves Nadia, and he finds the much-needed love and affection with Farida. Karima eventually agrees to stay at Abdel Hakim's house.
Abdullah's villa is legally reserved. Abdel Hakim makes it clear that he will disinherit his brother's heirs and he will only give them a monthly allowance of five thousand pounds.
Karima resorts to the Mayor to do justice to her and her daughters. Fawzia accompanies Dalal to see the suitor. Abdel Hakim tells Abdel Salam that he isn't disinheriting them, but Abdullah got all his rights while he was alive.
Hassan tells Mofida that he will marry her after he learned of her pregnancy. Farida informs Zeinab and Shahd that Jabriya previously wanted to marry Abdullah. Fawzia tells Karima that two suitors have proposed to her.
Karima's daughters find a way to prove their right to inherit. Hassan hits Mofida to get rid of the baby, but Farida finds Mofida covered in blood and rescues her.
Mofida tells Farida that Hassan is her baby's father and that she fears that he might beat her again. Jabriya locks Nadia inside a room. Meanwhile, in tears, Karima and her daughters leave the villa.
Marwan divorces Nadia, and blames Jabriya for it. Abdel Hakim insists on not giving Abdullah's legitimate heirs their rights. Upon leaving the hospital, Karima rents an apartment. Rital calls Hassan who traveled on Marwan's advice.
Nada advises Rital to stay away from Hassan because he is a womanizer. Marwan brings the doctor to examine Mofida.
Shahd is enraged to learn that Ezzat has no intention of redecorating the apartment nor of having a wedding ceremony. Abdel Hakim learns that the mill started working. Marwan tells Farida that he is going to buy Mofida an apartment and dedicate a monthly allowance to her.
Despite his initial objection to the marriage, Abdel Hakim eventually agrees to wed Mahrous to Fawzia. Rital suggests that Hassan import goods from China. Karima and Zeina return to Upper Egypt to claim their rights.
Nadia tells Zeinab that she saw Mofida with Marwan and Farida. Karima tells Abdel Hakim that she wants to live at his house, and he agrees under the condition that she comes with her daughters. Rital agrees to marry Hassan.
Marwan refuses to divorce Nadia unless she voluntarily relinquishes her rights, which Nadia unhesitatingly refuses. Abdel Hakim convinces Jabriya that if she throws out Karima and her daughter, people will only rebuke her.
Karima gives Mahrous a ring to give to Fawzia. Jomana asks Soliman about the reason why they don't have children. Nadia sees Farida talking to Marwan, and she wonders if there's something between them.
Karima reads in Abdel Hakim's eyes that he desires to marry her. Farida asks Marwan to publicly announce their marriage, especially now that Nadia knows that he has spent the night at Farida's house. Marwan tells Farida that he is planning to open a company.
Fawzia finds a spell underneath her pillow, and Jabriya tells her that it is Karima who put it there. Nadia sees Farida to consult her whether she should return to Marwan or get a divorce. Zeinab and Rital travel upon Karima's suggestion.
Abdel Hakim eventually agrees to go to the mayor's house to apologize to Abdel Salam and reconcile with him, but Abdel Salam hits Abdel Hakim, so the latter shoots him. Dalal overhears Jabriya admitting to murdering Abdullah.
Hassan forbids Rital from leaving the house. Marwan and Karima ask the mayor to claim that Abdel Salam committed suicide or just simply died.
The inspector is investigating Abdel Salam's murder, which urges Karima to relocate Abdel Salam's corpse to another tomb. Jabriya asks Marwan not to follow his father's commands and not to report the incident to the police.
Karima learns that Mofida is pregnant with Hassan's baby, so she asks him to take Mofida away. As per Marwan's instructions, Hassan has Kamel locked in the warehouse. The inspector doesn't find Abdel Salam's corpse.
Jabriya murders Dalal in the mill to silence her forever. Rital intends to tell Karima that Jabriya is behind Abdullah's death. Farida informs Jabriya that Marwan is her husband. Meanwhile, Abdel Hakim's health is worsening.
Karima asks Nada to take Mofida in to protect her. Hassan threatens Marwan to tell him the truth about their business and their money. Fathy is considering taking Shams away and fleeing the country.
Karima demands that Abdel Hakim publicly give her Abdel Salam's blood money and Abdullah's share in the inheritance.
Zeinab sets fire to Fawzia's furniture and accuses Karima of doing it. Dalal goes missing and Karima and Galila report her disappearance to the police. Marwan seems to have revealed his secret to his father.
Karima advises Zeinab to agree to marry the mayor. Abdel Hakim rejoices to learn that Rital is pregnant. Farida asks Marwan to be his partner in the company he is to open. Kamel finds Dalal's corpse in the mill.
The inspector investigates Dalal's murder, and Karima denies knowing anything about the foul act. Zeinab agrees to marry the mayor on one condition: that he returns her father's inheritance to her. Mahrous and Fawzia get married, whereas Abdel Hakim asks Marwan to divorce Farida.
Karima and Nadia communicate to the inspector that Jabriya is behind Dalal's murder. Abdel Hakim tries to dissuade the mayor from marrying Zeinab. Mahrous urges Fawzia to sell her golden jewelry to buy a house.
Marwan rejects the idea of the inspector investigating Jabriya. Abdel Hakim forcefully takes Zeinab to his house, and Karima seizes the chance to drive a wedge between Abdel Hakim and the mayor. Karima informs everyone that Jabriya murdered Abdullah.
Abdel Hakim encourages Marwan to marry Zeinab to preserve the family's money. Ezzat opens a law office and introduces Shahd as an old friend. Karima is trying to get Fawzia to claim her rights.
Zeinab refuses to run away and decides to stay and marry Marwan. Nada lies to Karima saying that Mofida ran away. Hassan steals the money, beats Marwan, and runs away.
Farida advises Marwan to strike a partnership with Jomana, but advises him to take his precautions. Karima agrees with a gypsy to testify that she saw Jabriya getting out of the mill without Dalal. The inspector then arrests Jabriya.
The prosecution has Jabriya imprisoned for 4 days. Meanwhile, Zeinab demands that the mayor get Abdel Hakim into prison, and that's her only condition to marry the mayor.
Marwan is saddened by Abdel Hakim's lack of confidence in him. Abdel Hakim meets Marwan as the latter tells him the truth about everything. Fawzia meets Karima to claim her rights.
Jabriya is released when the witnesses give their account that she indeed was busy at a party on the day Dalal was killed. Jabriya suggests that Abdel Hakim marry Karima, while Karima encourages Zeinab not to go to the mayor's house.
Fawzia is informed that Abdel Hakim removed her name from the inheritance claims to take over her share. Shahd overhears Ezzat as he proposes to Rana. Hassan finds Mofida at Nada's house, and she tells him that she had an abortion.
The court issues an order regarding Abdullah's daughters' right to inheritance. Fawzia advises Hassan to take Rital and leave the house.
Othman catches Zeinab as she was running away, and he forcefully takes her back to his house. Karima calls out for Marwan to save Zeinab. Nadia fears that Abdel Hakim might wed Zeinab to Marwan.
The mayor takes his guards and heads to where Zeinab is, so Marwan uses his machine gun to scare the men away. Abdel Hakim informs Jabriya that he has a wife in Cairo.
Abdel Hakim gets a bulldozer to demolish the mayor's house, and he announces himself the new mayor. Jabriya tells Abdel Hakim that Shahd filed a lawsuit against him, and she won't drop it.
Fawzia attempts suicide by self-immolation. Meanwhile, Nadia asks Marwan to take her back as his wife, but he refuses. Karima tells Abdel Hakim that it was Jabriya who murdered Abdullah.
By observing Jabriya's manner of talking, Abdel Hakim is certain that it was she who murdered Abdullah. Hassan tries to murder Nada when he learns about her pregnancy. Farida tries to turn Nadia against Zeinab.
Mofida eventually softens Hassan's heart for their son. Fawzia wants to get a divorce. Rital pushes Shams off the stairs causing her miscarriage. Jabriya burns down Karima's house to get rid of its inhabitants, but Marwan rescues them and takes them to Farida's house.
Marwan asks Abdel Hakim to give Karima her deserved rights, but Karima only wants Jabriya to be brought to trial. Shams denies that it was Rital who pushed her off, and in exchange, she demands for her to leave the house. Marwan and Hassan agree to give people their rights.
The mayor informs Shahd that he has documents that can condemn Abdel Hakim. Rana convinces Ezzat to stop advocating for Shahd. Mahrous is forced to divorce Fawzia.
Marwan confesses his love for Zeinab. Abdel Hakim is in a wheelchair, and he asks Marwan to lock both Karima and Jabriya in their rooms.
Shahd makes an infringement report against Hassan after he severely beats her. Abdel Hakim asks Marwan to take Nada and Dalila to Mofida's house.
Nadia is shot as she tries to take the gun away from Shams who intended to kill Abdel Hakim. Hassan and Mofida get married. Jabriya strangles Abdel Hakim upon knowing that he married Karima.
As he intervenes to rescue his father from Jabriya's clutches, Marwan is stabbed. Abdel Hakim eventually divorces Jabriya. It is proven that Nada isn't pregnant. Meanwhile, Nadia agrees to marry Fathy.
Karima convinces Zeinab to marry Marwan. The jeweler informs Marwan that Fathy has Shams's jewelry and he intends to sell it. Abdel Hakim tries to settle his family matters and get his sons to reconcile and support one another.
Farida asks Marwan to divorce her, while Mofida gives birth to a baby boy. Marwan marries Zeinab, and he tells his family that he intends to set up a company where they share in the losses and the gains. The apparent peacefulness vanishes as Nadia gets in to take revenge on them.
