When Makhzanji orders Negm to do errands for him, Qamar, Negm's fiancée, objects to this, so he fires him from the café. As Negm opens an office to perform government services, he deceives Ahmed, so the latter files a complaint against him.
As Umm Donia (Donia's mother) tells Negm that Qamar's manager has harassed her, Negm imports Iranian clothes and forces Qamar to wear it, but she refuses and assures him that cloth is not a reason for harassment.
Negm is forced to treat Umm Donia with herbs after he couldn't find a doctor in the hospital to treat her. As Qamar is surprised by the presence of an imposter in the neighborhood, she discovers that he is Negm.
As Negm volunteers to conduct drug experiments on him in order to get money, Makhzanji takes advantage of the drug's effect on Negm and pushes him into fanaticism towards Al-Awa team. Negm tells Umm Donia about the drug.
As Negm asks Umm Donia to mediate in order to complete his wedding to Qamar, Makhzanji falsely claims that Qamar's father has demands for marriage requirements, and he advises Negm to buy everything in installments so that he signs trust receipts to him.
As Negm finds Umm Donia and all the women of the neighborhood stuck in the ceiling, the men gather to discuss a solution to the crisis. Negm begins to do the women’s work in their place, after which the situation is reversed and now the men are stuck in the ceiling.
Negm and Makhzanji present a stage performance about respecting appointments, and Negm asks Makhzanji to convince the people of the neighborhood that Ramadan has come so that they can buy the Ramadan supplies.
As Umm Donia complains to Negm about the illegal immigrant youth, he warns Makhzanji that the employment company is defrauding him. Negm asks the owner of the company for a bribe to help him obtain the necessary papers, and he goes to the employee Afaf to get the papers.
As Qamar sells Egyptian products, Afaf asks Negm to partner up with her in this project. Makhzanji’s head is caught on fire from using the Chinese towel with the dryer, and Qamar saves him. Negm puts a label “Made in Egypt” on the Chinese products.
As Qamar goes to the desert to develop it, Negm and Makhzanji decide to build a school, a solarium, and a hospital on the roof of his house, but everything gets destroyed.
As Negm remembers his high school studies, he asks Umm Donia to enroll him in a private lesson, but she refuses and discovers that Makhzanji helps him by leaking the exam on Facebook.
Umm Donia has a strange dream, in which she sees herself with Makhzanji running for the neighborhood chief, and they switch bodies. She tries to tell her daughter about that, but she does not believe her.
While Makhzanji gives oil and sugar to everyone who elects him, Umm Donia thinks of projects that serve the neighborhood. As Makhzanji plans with the doctor and Afaf to rig the elections, Awad decides to inform on Makhzanji.
Negm finds a job and an apartment in an ad published by the contractor, Arafa, who plotted with Makhzanji to defraud Negm and pay a bribe to Afaf to demolish the Pasha’s villa and build a tower in its place.
As Negm decides to work as an Arabic language teacher for private lessons, Qamar helps him by giving him books for the Arabic language, but he ends up teaching students in a wrong way.
As Umm Donia decides to help Qamar financially in her new project, Qamar remembers the failure of her old project to make liver sandwiches because of Negm.
Makhzanji thinks of dismantling the Egyptian palaces and statues and selling them abroad, while a foreign investor sends an email to Negm asking to help Umm Donia in the neighborhood development project, so Makhzanji tries to deceive her, but she exposes him.
As Negm works as a deliveryman, Makhzanji suggests that he buy supply commodities and sell them at another price. When Umm Donia discovers their plan, she tells the people of the neighborhood.
Qamar decides not to marry Negm because he could not find a job, and Negm decides to launch a marriage app, while Makhzanji goes to Qamar to propose to her.
As Makhzanji falls ill, Negm takes him to the doctor, while Qamar decides to study nursing, and the doctor asks Negm to impersonate him and take his place, so Makhzanji asks him for free medicines to sell to patients outside of insurance.
When people find a bomb in the neighborhood, Makhzanji disables it, and they hide in the cafe. But as the same case gets repeated, Makhzanji agrees with Negm to call the police.
As Qamar is employed in the local council, Makhzanji tries to incite Negm against Qamar, and he helps her in running the local council, after which Negm spends the budget for the restoration of the neighborhood on the requests of Makhzanji.
As Qamar tries to advise the people to rationalize the consumption of water and electricity, Makhzanji steals street electricity. Negm helps Qamar in a project called Biogas and goes to Afaf to get a permit for the Biogas well, but the project fails due to the greed of the people of the neighborhood.
As Makhzanji decides to turn the neighborhood into an independent state, Negm inquires from Afaf about political asylum in the state of Makhzanji, who stipulates that Negm work as a cleaner, while the doctor plans to create a virus to fight the opponents in the neighborhood.
As Negm and Qamar participate in a competition at the school, Negm seeks Makhzanji's help to win the competition, while Professor Meligy mocks Qamar's research. When Negm wins, Umm Donia submits a complaint about the fraud of Makhzanji and Meligy in the competition.
Makhzanji is thinking of holding a Valentine's Day celebration for the neighborhood. As Negm receives the army's conscription letter and begins to think about going AWOL, Makhzanji advises him to run away and travel for 10 years, but Umm Donia advises him against it.
Makhzanji is afraid of the presence of a demon in the neighbourhood, and Negm keeps imagining his appearance. As rumors are circulating about this demon, Makhzanji uses this to freak people out and asks them to leave their homes.
As Negm decides to launch a project of maps of the tuk-tuk route, he asks an expert to do so, only to find that the expert is Makhzanji, and he points the tuk-tuk driver to a wrong place.
Makhzanji steals the subscription to encrypted satellite channels. As Qamar thinks about opening a publishing house, Negm decides to help her, and with her refusal to publish Meligy's books, Makhzanji advises him to resort to another publishing house.
As Negm tells Umm Donia that he will sell his grandmother's house in the neighborhood to a foreign investor, he agrees with him to convince the neighborhood's residents to sell their homes, but they discover that the money is fake.
