Nadia tells her mother that someone wants to visit them to propose to her, and her mother tries to convince her father of him, while she gets ready to host him. After he comes and the family is happy with him, her sister is glad that Nadia will get married and leave her room for her.

As Muhammad tells Nadia that he and his mother will come to officially propose to her from her parents, her siblings mock him and make fun of his mother's name, while her father speaks with his friend who wants to know everything about the groom.

Nadia's little sister wants to buy a dog, but her family does not agree, so her brother gives her a toy in the shape of a dog. Muhammad gives Nadia a cage containing two pigeons, and she is very happy, only for her sister to let them fly.

Muhammad gifts Nadia an expensive ring, and her family rejoices for her. Maryam tells her mother that she likes her rich colleague and wants to marry him. The neighbor's daughter likes Nadia's brother, but he is not interested in her.

Fatima asks Rizuka to let her travel to Turkey with her son, because she believes that gold there is very cheap, and he agrees after her great urging. Nadia and her siblings don't want to eat the traditional food the maid prepares and they make eggs.

Alia tries to drive a wedge between the family members and tells Muhammad that Nadia likes a doctor who proposed to marry her. She also tells Fatima that Hayat speaks badly about her, but Maryam reveals her plot, since she always did not believe her.

As Hayat believes that her daughter is envied after her fiancé delayed the engagement because his mother is sick, the maid asks a fortune teller to cast a spell for her that would keep her safe, while Hayat's brother becomes a palm reader, as the whole family has come to believe in magic.

After Muhammad comes with his parents to Nadia's house, a family party is held for their engagement. Maryam meets her boyfriend and tells her grandmother and mother that he is a nice young man and she wants to get engaged to him.

When Selim's grades are very bad, his father rebukes him, his sister Maryam mocks him, while his mother tries to encourage her son to succeed. Maryam flunks and her mother punishes her with washing the dishes.

As Sherifa goes to her home in her area, it is hard for Hayat to balance her life between work and home, as she no longer cooks or arranges the house, and the family members find it difficult to cope with the situation without her. When she returns home, they are very happy with her.

When Fatima travels to Turkey with her son, her husband misses her. Alia quarrels with her husband because she wants to travel to Turkey and he refuses. Hayat also decides to travel to buy the trousseau for her daughter, Nadia.

Fatima returns from Turkey and gives Hayat a headscarf, and her husband is very happy about her return. The aunt of the daughters also returns and does not bring any gifts to them and Alia is jealous of them.

Maryam goes with her parents and her brother to the countryside and they have lunch in the open air, but she doesn't like it. When Alia also goes with her friend to have lunch there, they come back tired and decide not to go again.

When the refrigerator breaks down, Hayat asks her husband to change it, and he refuses and gets angry, as the TV does not work, and Emad tries to fix it. Fatima asks Rizuka to buy her a new washing machine while he complains about the purchases.

On Hayat's wedding anniversary, she asks Sherifa to clean the house, while she goes out to buy a cake and prepares a luxurious dinner. Nadia and her husband come to celebrate with her parents on their wedding anniversary.

Both Hayat and Nadia want to go on a diet. As Maryam buys traditional cosmetics for the skin, she, Sheirfa and Nadia put vegetables on their faces, and Muhammad sees her and she's embarrassed by him.

Nadia and Maryam help Hayat clean the house and arrange their rooms. Rizuka complains about Fatima because she rearranged the furniture in the rooms.

Despite her husband's objection, Hayat decides to paint the house, and she brings a worker who asks for a large sum. Fatima wants to make repairs in her apartment despite Rizuka's refusal. Nadia is glad because Muhammad is building a luxurious house for her in a place far from the city.

While everyone in Hayat's house follows the Mexican series, Fatima quarrels with Rizuka because he does not tell her romantic words. Hayat also blames her husband and tells him that love has nothing to do with age.

As Eid Al-Adha comes, Hayat asks her husband to buy them a lamb, but he hesitates because his children do not love lamb and because its price is high and his debts are many, so Muhammad gives them a lamb from his farm, and the grandmother comes to spend the feast in Hayat and Mahmoud’s house.

When Sherifa discovers that there is a mouse in the kitchen, Hayat, Nadia and Maryam leave the house, and they go to Fatima's house and talk to the grandmother. Rizuka tries to catch it, but he cannot.

Hayat feeds Selim properly because he's having an exam. Maryam is happy because the table is full of all the food that she loves. Selim goes to the institute and his uncle helps him. Alia is jealous because her son did not pass the exam and tries to drive a wedge between Hayat and Fatima.

As the family eagerly awaits for the baccalaureate result on pins and needles, Selim tries to keep it together with the pressures of his family and neighbors. Selim passes the exams, and Hayat throws a party, and invites Muhammad's family to attend.

Hayat’s children want to go to the beach and she refuses because they don't have the money and her husband is preparing for his sister’s marriage, but Rizuka invites them to go with him to Sousse, where he owns an apartment there and everyone is happy about the news.

As Nadia's wedding takes place, the girls and Fatima dress up, and they attend the party, while Rizuka brings a band to sing at the ceremony, as young people rejoice and dance at the party.

Hayat goes to live with her husband in his parents' house in the village, and she is happy because she loves her mother-in-law. As Hayat misses her daughter after she got married, her husband tries to comfort her, while Maryam is happy because she will have her room to herself.

Hayat gets angry at her husband because she thinks he is a miser. Fatima blames Rizuka for not buying her the cloth she wants, and she considers him stingy, while the grandmother considers her son a spendthrift.

On the first day of Ramadan, Hayat tries to cook everything her children and her husband want, as well as Fatima, but Rizuka is angry with her because she did not cook the pasta he loves. The family gathers later to watch the daily series and the men go out to the cafe.

Hayat prepares Eid sweets and her husband complains about the expenses. Fatima also asks her husband to buy sweets and goes to Hayat's house on the eve of Eid, where she finds all the family together after they bought the Eid clothes.

On the day of Eid, the boys meet their friends in the cafe, and at night their aunt comes from travel, while Fatima and her husband come to stay up late at Hayat's house and celebrate with each other.
