Abul Ghaith meets El Mughira, the son of the ruler of the country, while wounded in the mountain, and his niece Maryam was with him. As he brings El Hakim to treat him, he learns that the guards of El Zuhair are looking for him to kill him and seize control of the rest of the country.
Alqamah kills Abul Ghaith. The guards are still after El Mughira, killing anyone who supports him. El Mughira, El Hakim and Maryam hide at the clan of a Bedouin, whom El Hakim tells the truth in order not to cause him harm, while El Mughira’s wife mourns her husband, as news of his death reaches her.
The Bedouin learns the truth and decides to protect his guests. El Mughira marries Maryam, who gets pregnant. Alqamah launches a major campaign against the citizens, threatening them with the sword to rob their property. With Commander Jaber’s help, El Mughira's wife sets to protect the country from Alqamah.
Alqamah controls the tribes, and there are some tribes that rebel against the ruler’s authority represented in the person of El Mughirah’s wife. Alqamah arrests Suhaib, who confesses that he saw the crown prince in his tribe. As he decides to find him and kill him, El Mughira leaves the tribe.
El Mughira's wife discovers that her husband has married another woman, which grieves her, while her brother imprisons Commander Jaber and assumes the position of commander of the guard. El Mughira is kidnapped by bandits on his way home, not knowing that he is the crown prince.
El Salem asks his sister to appoint him as a commander after he imprisoned Commander Jaber, and tells her that he is looking for Maryam to get rid of her. El Hakim helps one of the bandits get rid of the poison in his body, yet their chief informs the commander that he is holding El Mughira.
El Mughira finally returns to the palace, where he’s welcomed by his wife, who has earlier imprisoned her brother and freed Commander Jaber from prison. As the tribes clash with the guards, a revolution breaks out due to Alqamah’s sedition. The queen's guards seek to bring Maryam from her tribe.
As Alqamah's father is killed, he vows to avenge him. Chaos ensues in the country. El Mughira seeks El Hakim's help to restore order, and orders Commander Jaber to settle the affairs of the tribes. The man sent by the princess returns with Maryam and her son, but she dies of illness on the way back.
Alqamah arrests the man and his wife, and he tortures him to know where he's hiding Maryam’s son, but to no avail. The wife raises the baby with her daughter till he grows up. El Mughira grieves for Maryam, after which he devotes himself to his rule with Commander Jaber and El Hakim’s help.
El Mughira’s son grows up to be a young man; he works in a workshop. He also falls in love with the daughter of Abu Bakr, who was imprisoned by Alqamah, whom he asks to see his daughter before he dies. El Mughira controls the tribes and the country's situation improves, but Commander Jaber falls ill.
Alqamah goes to Umm Badr's (Badr’s mother) house to see Badr, whom he falls for and proposes to, but the girl rejects him and kicks him out. Umm Badr also rejects El Mughira's son’s request to marry her daughter, as she suspects that he may be her half-brother on her father’s side.
Alqamah renews his request to marry Badr, who refuses again, and tells her lover El Mughira’s son about it. Alqamah learns that Badr loves the young man whom everyone calls Ibn Qais, as no one knows his true identity, so he decides to get rid of him. Commander Jaber’s condition worsens.
As Ibn Qais goes to the palace for work, the princess learns that he’s Maryam and El Mughira’s son, so she keeps it quiet. Badr's father tells her the truth about Ibn Qais, whom she’s glad is not her brother. Alqamah quarrels with his chief as he thinks he’s planning a coup.
