The other girls living with Hanoum make fun of Hayat for her snoring and her inability to do chores. Hayat bakes and recounts her story to Hanoum. She decides to take up a job as a maid like Saedya, Eman, and Ruqaya, as she continues to look for her father.

Eman sees Mrs. Yakout crying over her husband's infidelity, but her husband manages to convince her that he is innocent. Hayat and Hamada grow close as he gifts her a scarf that resembles the one she lost on the first day they met.
