Festivities begin in honor of Brianna and Roger's wedding, and Governor Tryon reminds Jamie of his duty to get rid of Murtagh Fitzgibbons.

Jamie must decide whether or not he's on the right side of history, as he resumes his chase after Murtagh with the help of Lieutenant Hamilton Knox.

While attending Jocasta's wedding, Jamie discovers Tryon's actual reason for putting an end to the Regulator danger.

Jamie is forced to confront his fear, as the Regulator Rebellion reaches a critical point.

The Frasers must deal with the repercussions of the Battle of Alamance Creek, and Brianna tries to support Roger in dealing with the crisis he's been through.

Claire is worried that she may not have the means to rescue Jamie after he is bitten by a poisonous snake.

Jamie and Roger carry out their plan to get rid of the danger that is approaching them.

Roger and Brianna must make a decision whether to stay or go back to the future.

Claire is having a hard time surviving the violent treatment of her captors, while Jamie assembles a group of trustworthy men to help him save his wife.
