After a failed assassination attempt, James finds himself forced to rebuild his empire. On the other hand, Tommy disappears after discovering that Angela is working with the FBI.

Tommy offers to help James rebuild his empire in exchange for using Angela as a source of information. However, Kanan's release from prison reveals a surprise.

James and Angela escape to Miami for a romantic getaway, but their lives are put in jeopardy when betrayal enters their world. Meanwhile, Tommy and Kanan's alliance grows stronger.

James finds himself struggling to maintain control over Angela, Tommy, and the others before Simon Stern stops James from regaining control of the nightclub.

James and Tommy find themselves under great pressure and threat to pay off their debt to Lobos, unaware that the FBI is pressuring Holly to do something.

Angela manages to uncover the shocking and hidden truth about her partner James, that he is Ghost, and that he runs a dark world of drug dealing. At the same time, the group welcomes a new member.

As Angela learns more about James' identity as he works to mend his relationship with his children, Holly takes action towards Tommy, and Natasha discovers a secret about Angela and the investigation file.

James decides to get away from Philip Lobos by all means before Angela can reach him through investigations, so he resorts to risking losing one of his biggest supporters.

As Tommy is pressured to make a tough decision to betray Lobos or go to prison, James tries to do the right thing and make a fateful decision that could change the course of events.

Deaths continue to ensue among members of James's outlaw organization, increasing the danger surrounding him and Tommy. However, the two allies stand together in the face of danger to reclaim their place.
