Ragab is a poor farmer who left his village. He travels to Cairo to look for work and settles at his uncle Akef’s house. He asks for a job from Dawlat, who is married to Asim, who was his father's partner and seized his money before his death.
Ragab takes up his job in accounting at Dawlat's company and discovers many irregularities in the accounts. Aisha is impressed with her cousin, Reda.
Ragab tells Asim about the violations taking place in the company, so he punishes him by deducting his salary. Akef fights with Salem because he tries to talk to Aisha.
Reda's colleagues begin to exploit him to do work on their behalf. Asim falls ill after his company loses a large tender and he tells Ragab that he will return the amount he took from his father.
Asim's health condition improves, and he refuses to give Ragab the money he has promised him. Salwa, Ragab's coworker, reciprocates his admiration for her when he tells her so.
Ragab starts a second job in a lawyer's office but gets fired because he was mending among all his clients. Ragab submits his resignation to Asim because Raafat, his friend, promised to hire him, but he abandons him after he was fired from his job.
Enas convinces Ragab to return to work with Asim. Ragab informs Dawlat of Asim's desire to marry Nagla.
Dawlat prevents Asim from marrying Nagla. She appoints Ragab as general manager of the company, while she assigns Asim to the accounts department.
Ragab begins to fix the company's affairs and also proves to Dawlat that Asim attempts to steal half a million pounds of the company's money.
Things calm down between Dawlat and Asim. When Asim returns to the position of general manager and transfers Ragab to the archive, Salwa informs Dawlat about the matter.
Dawlat brings Ragab back to his work in accounts, and Aisha agrees to marry Salem, thinking that Ragab is the one who wants to marry her.
Salem proposes to Aisha, but Akef kicks him out and tells him that she is engaged to Ragab. Salem beats Ragab, so Ragab decides to convince Aisha of Salem’s love for her.
Ragab tells Aisha that he does not want to marry her. Asim continues to mistreat Ragab. Manal enlists the help of Ragab to help her fix things with her husband, but when he intervenes, he makes matters worse.
Asim discovers the news of the death of his horse, Dawlat, so Ragab publishes the news of Dawlat's death in the newspapers, thinking that she had died. Ragab apologizes to Dawlat and tells her of Asim's insistence on cheating on her.
Dawlat returns to Ragab what he owes from Asim. Ragab goes to Nagla, assuming the identity of Asim's father, and convinces her to go with him so she can marry Asim.
Asim decides to marry another woman because of Nagla's excessive demands. Shafiqa is shocked by Akef's desire to marry another woman.
Nagla goes to Dawlat's villa to marry Asim, but Dawlat kicks her out and Asim leaves the house. Akef began to fix things with Shafiqa, and Salwa still refuses to marry Metwally.
Ragab declares his love for Salwa and proposes to her. Asim informs Ragab of his desire to help him sell counterfeit jewelry as antiques, but Ragab refuses.
When Salwa asks Ragab to sell his land so that he can marry her and his uncle refuses, he agrees to participate with Asim in selling antique jewelry.
Ragab returns the money to whoever bought the antique ring. Aisha agrees to marry Salem. Manal celebrates her pregnancy with her husband. Enas tells Asim of Samir’s desire to marry her.
When Enas finds out that Samir's parents refuse their marriage, Samir asks Ragab to bring any parents along so they can tell Asim that they approve of the marriage, and Ragab kicks him out. Salwa married Metwally.
Akef and Shafiqa impersonate Samir's parents and go to meet Asim and Dawlat. Asim agrees to Samir's marriage to Enas, thinking that he is the son of Al Zanati, the businessman.
Asim discovers the truth about Samir. Enas refuses to marry Al Zanati's son, tells them that she is married and leaves the house. Enas tells Ragab of her love for him.
Enas tells her parents about her marriage to Ragab, and they agree to the marriage because she lied about receiving his inheritance, estimated at millions. When Ragab tells them the truth, they kick him out.
Ragab obtains his inheritance from his stepfather, and Asim tries to deceive him and seize his wealth, but Ragab seizes Asim’s money. However, Enas brings him back to his senses, so he returns the rights to their owners, returns to his village to cultivate his land, and marries Enas.
