A year ago, Watan was taken to the hospital, and the doctors tried to save him from death, but he took his last breath. After that, the first anniversary of Watan’s martyrdom is celebrated.
It becomes clear that Watan did not die and fled to a faraway area with Samad. In the market, the fires of resistance burn inside him and he almost confronts one of the corrupt people, on the other hand, Hayat prepares to celebrate her wedding.
As Samad tries to convince Watan to return to his life, Hayat remembers her wedding night when her groom and all her family were drowned in their blood in the middle of a battle between Watan and the General.
As Talian attacks Watan and kills his dog, Hayat imprisons Al Awdi and tries to reach Talian through him to achieve justice herself. Lieutenant Colonel Taiba is hired to work with Lieutenant Colonel Hazem to arrest drug dealers.
As Watan confronts one of the thugs in the market, the General is assigned to fight the Black Palm gang, and Jahannam finds a letter from her father in which he reveals a big secret. On the other hand, Hayat begins implementing her plan to kill Jaafar and calls herself Baghdad.
Masked men attack Watan, but he confronts them and hangs their bodies in the market. As Hazem finds Jaafar's body and begins investigating his murder, Watan meets the guardian of the obelisk and tries to persuade him to cooperate with him. On the other hand, Abu Amal seeks to escape from Hayat's prison.
As Hayat feels reassured after Jaafar's death, Watan feels guilty for causing the death of Hayat's family and tries to look after his mother and family from a distance.
Abu Amal helps Hayat get rid of Jaafar's men, and she tries to convince him to cooperate with her against the General, however, he warns her against fighting him.
Badr, the lawyer, tries to convince Watan to work with him against the deep state. As Hazem disguises himself as an addict until he discovers the rest of Jaafar's followers, Watan meets Hayat and she is not aware that he caused the death of her family.
As Abu Amal collects information for Hayat about Haitham's largest drug warehouse, Watan begins his plan with Badr and tells him about a large gathering of the Black Palm gang. At the same time, Hazem leads the anti-terrorism force against the Black Palm.
As Hazem meets Watan and believes that he is a person impersonating Watan, Watan eliminates terrorists, and Hayat has doubts about Watan's identity.
People protest for Watan to return, and the latter decides to visit his family and inform them that he is alive. It becomes clear that Samad died a long time ago, but Watan imagines his presence.
As Watan's hallucinations about having Samad with him continue, Jahannam decides to cooperate with the General, and Watan begins his new mission against corruption.
Jahannam asks the General to get rid of Police Chief Hussein, and Hayat tries to save him to no avail.
Taiba mourns her father Hussein after his death, and Hazem holds his brother Watan responsible for his death and asks him to disappear like before. However, Watan agrees with Wassim and his friends to form a team to implement justice.
As Watan falls in love with Hayat and gets close to her, his brother Hazem insists on kicking him out of the house, and the family.
As Watan succeeds in convincing Hazem to support him in confronting the deep state, Watan and his group are surprised by a visit from El Shabh, who offers them to work with him.
As Hazem confronts Zaid about killing Hussein, Zaid admits that he was forced to do so under pressure from the Black Palm gang as they threatened to kill his entire family. Watan succeeds in saving Zaid's family, and quarrels with Hayat.
Zaid commits suicide, Hayat blames herself for abandoning the desire to avenge her family, and Badr begins distributing money to the poor and needy.
As Watan agrees with Badr to find job opportunities for young people, Watan kidnaps Abu Amal to find out about his relationship with Hayat. The General’s men attack Hayat’s house and Watan saves her.
As Watan takes Hayat to introduce her to his family, Hazem asks Watan to hand Hayat over to the police for the murders she committed. On the other hand, Watan challenges Al Thoaban and threatens to kill him, and Al Thoaban agrees with Tantal to kill Watan.
As Watan tells his mother that he is the reason for the murder of Hayat's family, Jahannam challenges Tantal and agrees with the General to get rid of her.
As Tantal asks her assistants to get rid of Watan and kill him, Watan's sister tells Hayat, that he is the masked person who killed her family.
As Hayat stays at home and refuses to meet Watan, Watan decides to develop a plan to get rid of the Black Palm gang.
As Tantal revolts, because she failed to kill Watan, she tries to agree with Jahannam to cooperate with her in killing him, but she refuses. The police raid Tantal’s house and she commits suicide.
As Tantal's children threaten Jahannam for causing the death of their mother and kidnap Watan's sister, Watan's mother seeks to improve her son's relationship with Hayat.
Watan, with the help of the police and the leadership of Hazem and Taiba, succeeds in returning his sister home and arresting the kidnappers.
Abu Amal and Hayat help the prisoner Haitham escape from the police so that she can take revenge on him in her way, and Watan tries to convince her to stay away from the matter and leave it to him.
The General threatens Hayat and tries to kill her, but Watan saves her and his team reveals to him her cooperation with Abu Amal. At the same time, Hazem proposes to Taiba.
Watan agrees with Hayat to continue their life together and get married, and so Hazem and Taiba do. However, Jahannam takes revenge on Watan and puts drugs in his car, so he is arrested and sent to prison, and it becomes clear that Samad is not dead.
