Dalia Saad |
An Egyptian writer, songwriter, politician and journalist. After completing his primary studies, he wrote poetry at the age of twelve. He completed his secondary studies in his hometown, Mit Ghamr, and then went to Cairo to complete his university studies and obtain a BA in journalism. He joined Dar Al-Hilal Press Foundation and worked as an editor, then moved to Al-Gomhuria newspaper, which was established with the July 1952 revolution, and then worked as editor-in-chief of Al-Sahraa magazine in 1956. Politically, he won a parliament sear, represting the Mit Ghamr district in 1957 He established a spinning factory in Mit Ghamr and then a textile factory in the neighboring city of Zefta, which kept him away from writing, journalism and art. He wrote songs for many stars, such as Karem Mahmoud, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, and Mohamed Fawzy. He passed away in 1999.
