Adams is best known for her roles in The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), The Killing (1956), The Ten...Read more Commandments (1956), and Bedtime Story (1941). Dorothy Adams specialized in the roles of the oppressed woman and the maid, playing the role of a slave in The Ten Commandments. She also worked in Pasadena Playhouse with her husband. In the early sixties, she taught theatrical arts at UCLA, and in the seventies, she worked extensively in American television. Dorothy Adams died on March 16, 1988, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.
