He joined the Italian Conti School of Dramatic Acting at the age of 14, after participating in several films as a child actor, and in 1948, he participated in a heroic role in the movie Oliver Twist (1948). He continued his cinematic works until he was called up in the early fifties to serve in the army, and after a discharge from the army, he continued his cinematic activity in various roles and participated in television programs as a child actor and musician. He began to be known as a singer and composer, and in the late fifties, he became famous for the song Idol on Parade, which he sang in a movie of the same name in 1959.
