Actress Sohier El Morshedi's mother passed away this Sunday. The funeral was held last Thursday at the Hamdeya Shazleya Mosque.

Many artists consoled El Morshedie and Motawie at the funeral, among them: Salah El Saadani, Ahmed 'Adawiyah, Sameh El Serity, Ahmad Maher, Ahmed Abd El Wareth, Ragaa Hussein, Galal El-Sharkawy, Eman El Aasi, Heba Magdy, Mazhar Abol Nagaand Mohamed Farid.

Morshedie's mother died from health issues related to old age. She was buried in the family's burial plot on the Autostrad road. She was the grandmother of actress Hanan Motawie.
