An American actor, born in College, Georgia, USA on April 29, 1904 and died in Sherman Oaks, California, USA on March 8, 1966 of atherosclerosis. His most important works are The Brain from Planet Arous (1957), Mysterious Doctor Satan (1940), and Attack of the 50 Foot Woman...Read more (1958). He worked as a stuntman in film and television. He was born in Georgia and attended Georgia Tech University in Atlanta. He practiced bodybuilding and developed his athletic skills that helped him become a businessman in Hollywood. His roles in action films were usually secondary, and sometimes, he did acrobatics in his movie. He moved with his family to Atlanta at the age of 14 and tried to play football, but failed due to his young age. He tried to work in the vaudeville theater with acrobatics, but he did not achieve success, so he worked as a model in a store window to earn a living. He went to Chicago and worked for 4 Years at the vaudeville theater performing various works, and he finally decided to travel to Hollywood. He found a profitable job to perform acrobatic stunts in films as well as performing some small acting roles, especially in American Western films. His career continued until the late fifties when he had a leg injury while performing a television advertisement for Chevrolet cars, so he was forced to focus on performing acting roles in cinema and television. He made his first film roles as an actor and doppler in The King Steps Out (1936),and his last as an actor in How the West Was Won (1962). He died in 1966 of atherosclerosis at the age of 61 .
